Océalliance, the largest fish and seafood wholesaler in France and Europe, operates in all French fish markets from Boulogne-sur-Mer to Saint-Jean de Luz. We also operate in Scotland through our subsidiary Angelbond.
At our 23 processing units located near ports, we buy and prepare fresh fish and seafood from French fisheries for next-day delivery. Thanks to our product range and know-how, we can service supermarkets, wholesalers, fishmongers and restaurants.
1/ Secure supply chain
Océalliance offers a unique network operating in 33 French fish markets. We are the biggest buyer and wholesaler of seafood products from French fisheries.
We purchase from markets along the Channel and Atlantic coast:
- In northern France at Boulogne-sur-Mer
- In Normandy at Port-en-Bessin, Cherbourg and Granville
- In northern Brittany, particularly the fish markets at Saint-Malo, Erquy, Saint-Quay-Portrieux, Roscoff and Brest
- In southern Brittany, at the fish markets in Douarnenez, Audierne, Saint-Guénolé, Le Guilvinec, Loctudy, Concarneau, Lorient and Quiberon.
- In the Pays de la Loire region, at La Turballe, Le Croisic, Noirmoutier, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Les Sables d’Olonne
- In southwest France, at the fish markets in La Rochelle, Ile d’Oléron, Royan, Arcachon and Saint-Jean de-Luz
In addition to purchasing at fish markets, Océalliance has developed a number of partnerships with fishing vessels: seiners, netters, trap setters, coastal trawlers, scallop boats, line vessels, whelk potters and more.
These partnerships have been established in order to secure our supply of strategic species and impose our own specifications so we can offer high quality products of unrivalled freshness.

Océalliance has the widest range of seafood products from coastal and deep-sea French fisheries:
- Whole fish:
- coastal fish: conger eel, pollock, red mullet, gurnard, pandora, whiting, sargo, wrasse, hake, meagre, smelt, mullet, and Mediterranean and Cunene horse mackerel
- Noble fish: sea bass, sea bream, John Dory, turbot, and porgies
- Flat fish: sole, megrim, plaice, lemon sole, and wedge sole
- Blue fish: sardine and mackerel
- Farmed fish: trout, salmon, and amberjack
- Other whole fish: bluefin tuna, longfin tuna, and bigeye tuna
- Initial processing:
- Filleted fish: cod, blue ling, pollock, saithe, haddock, salmon, rockfish, halibut, whiting, sardine, pout, and scabbard fish

- Back-filleted: cod, haddock, pollock, saithe, and catfish
- Skinned: catshark, houndshark, and skate wing
